Busy Busy Busy

Is this week ever going to end! We might have taken off a bit more than we can chew on this whole building a deck before Rio's birthday party. It is coming along and we have had some great help. I am getting nervous that at the end of this week we will have a deck but nothing else in the house will be done, so I'm apologizing in advance for the mess. Hmmmm I can't even remember what has happen since last time I posted other than deck deck deck. Oh yes we celebrated our 3 yr wedding anniversary with some great people and had a fantastic time, I will admit the next day I could have crawled in a dark whole and stayed there but I guess thats the price you pay lol. Orion is officially back at daycare and no chickenpox woooohoooo. Rio is running not walking anymore and really starting to hold his own with big brother, I'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing.

So on a little serious note, My aunt just recently posted some pictures on Facebook of my father. He died when I was about three so I don't have any memories of him. It has been so nice to see the comments, all the people that knew him and just the kind words in general. I don't think there will ever come a time when I don't miss him or it gets easier. All of this also made me stop and really think about how great of a Dad I do have. Life is so short and my dad is in FL which means I only see him once a year, this I hate. I'm not even sure where I'm going with this. Oh all of us need to just stop and take the time to make that one quick phone call, not email, not even a letter, letting somewhere hear your voice and to hear them say I love you is so much more meaningful. If you truly love someone you are never never too busy to do that, this is something I AM going to change because life gets away from us so fast but it is also too short not to. On that note I love you Dad and you have made more of an impact on me than you will ever know and I am truly blessed to have you as a father blood or not you are my dad. The funny part is he will most likely not read this, he's not too up on all this technology lol. Ahhhhh okay off too bed busy busy day aging tomorrow!

completely exhausted

Well I was without internet for a few days so I couldnt let all of you "5 followers" in on my very exciting life. I have really been slacking lately on everything, house, gym, errands basically everything. So due to that it is after 10 pm and I just got done cleaning my house well most of it that is. We have such a busy month ahead and the ambition is just not there. On a good note no pox so far and amazingly I think we are in the clear, for now. Ian comes home Friday after a very long five weeks on the river and me being a single mom ughhhhhh. I don't know who is more ready......me lol. This weekend we will be putting a deck on the back of our house and I am very very excited, thanks to the in-laws. Ian is excited but not about getting off the boat and building a deck, but hey it's gotta happen some time. A very dear friend of mine Jason is coming to help, which is fantastic. Ian and I will also be celebrating our three year wedding anniversary Sat, not the romantic getaway I long for but lots of productivity and hangin with good friends. Sunday we get our first family pictures with Rio in them well other than when he was in the belly. Any suggestions on what to wear, not white already did that. Geeze just talking about all this is wearing me out. Oh I forgot paint the kitchen and start getting ready for Rio's first birthday party on the 16th, that I just sent the invited for oops. Hey I'm only one woman : ) Ahhhhh so yep just a lil update, guess I could have just put busy busy busy. Sweet dreams all!

Damn Chickenpox

Well I called the Doc today to talk about the chickenpox vaccine. Did you know that even if they get the vaccine there is a good chance they will still get CP, it may not be a very severe case but either way it's cp. I still was very undecided on if I should get it or not, but my Doc said it is pointless if they already were most likely exposed. He said there isn't much point of putting them through the shot because if they have been exposed they will get it shot or not. Oh and Rio cant even get it until he turns one. So dilemma still stands do I send them to school and just risk it or do I keep them out until after the 16th (Rio's bday party). On the other hand if I keep them out of school and they already have it then it's pointless they might as well be going. By the way Orion goes to the Dayami Parent Child Collective aka Sufi school. This being said 99% percent of the children are most likely not immunized and the parents are excited and ready for their kids to get it over with. I agree with this but on the other hand BAD TIMING! UGHHHHHHH Okay that's it forget it he is going to school Wed! I would have to keep him out until there are no signs of cp for 20 days, which means every time a new kid gets it I would have to wait three weeks from then. So if we dont go until the 16th and then that week a kid ends up with it we would have to wait three weeks again before we go back, not happening. Doc said he wouldn't do vaccine until there are no cases of cp for 20 days. I suppose we will just put on the bottom of Rio's bday invitations.....if you haven't had Chickenpox or haven't been immunized then don't come unless you possibly want to get it lol. All I ask is please please please let us make it until family pictures are done and over with PLEEEEEAAASE!

Burrrrrr

I don't' know about everyone else but I am freezing! I have officially turned my heat on, I mean come on it's suppose to be 35 tonight. Winter is creeping up on us very fast this year. Fall is always my favorite time of year but it just seems to be going by way too fast.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was so so, we basically just hung around the house all weekend, I wish I could say being productive but I am really lacking in that right now. Payton had a football game Sat, he only got to play half of it due to loosing his THIRD mouth piece. I spent more than half of the game waiting in line at Target trying to get him a new one, the coach wont let him play without it. I swear Target really ticks me off, it's sat and they only have to check out lanes open. The lines were ridiculously long, I mean come on Target hire some more people or something, there are plenty of people that could use jobs right now. Anyways so Payton won his game by one point and they are undefeated. He somehow always manages to get on the best teams, his baseball team was undefeated as well. Yep that was our excitement for the weekend.

So no chickenpox yet. I'm thinking somehow they managed not to get them, which is good and bad at the same time. Now I'm in a predicament if I should send Orion back to school this week or not. Chances of him getting them are pretty likely. We just have so much coming up, it is such bad timing. Rio's first bday party and family pictures are two of the most important things. I feel like if I send Orion to school I might as well just cancel everything. So my options A)send him to school and not plan anything, B) get them immunized : ( ,C)keep him home from school until after the 16th ughhhhhh, mommy needs a break too. I am open for opinions/suggestions on this one!

Mr.Giraffe has returned! Well a new one that is, he doesn't look exactly like the original. Orion was sooooo excited and has been keeping him very close. I just told him Mr.G went to the spa/got a very good bath. He doesn't seem to care he's just happy to have him back! Oh and I realize how crazy I seemed on my search for him, but hey I don't care that's just a small part that makes me a great mother : )

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone! I am jumping on the productive train!
